It’s Not Much But It’s Honest

Chase Cavanaugh
Chase Cavanaugh is a Denver-based indie alternative singer-songwriter with folk influences and a nostalgic 2000s feel. Chase brings a raw sense of lyricism that is personal; a stream of consciousness, a journal entry, or a conversation with a friend. His songwriting brings his listeners in, to who he is, and who he aims to become. With an extensive performance resume in pop country since he was thirteen years old, playing major country music festivals, recording a full length album, and opening for artists such as Sheryl Crow, Chase went on to study at Berklee College of Music. There he took a hiatus from performing in his early twenties while he discovered his queerness, collecting stories along the way and using his musicality through serving the community in the field of Music Therapy. The songwriting never stopped for him and as he grew more comfortable in his identity and sense of self, he found himself craving his artistry and all of the unique connection performing brings. With the best of his music still to come he has found his way thriving in the Denver music scene as both an avid performer and music educator. He puts on energetic performances both with a full band and acoustically, fostering connections with fans through his authenticity and inviting demeanor. Chase is a unique artist you definitely don’t want to miss!
